You can totally tell they cut off M.I.A’s mic more than once. She goes to sing and nothing comes out. :(
My theory: She was lip-syncing against her will. She was singing but they kept her mic’s volume so low no one could hear her. At the end of the song you can hear her actual voice but so soft…She could have rocked the hell out of that song, due date or not. This was the highlight of the night.
